We also represent other non-British leading international brands like Kuhne, Gundelsheim, Barilla, Borges, Sacla, La Doria, Monini, Ortalli, Arnotts, Lactalis, Jarlsberg, Dilmah, Loacker etc..

Our business is simply that we import food and food related items from overseas on our own account and re-sell it onto the retail trade. Our business functions include importing, warehousing, marketing, sales, and key accounting. We have our own warehouses throughout South Africa, our own fleet of vehicles and our own sales force. We repr ...esent the leading international brands on a sole and exclusive basis in our market. 80% of our business is the formal retail trade where we supply all the leading retailers. We also supply to the food service and catering segments of the market, although in South Africa this is quite small relative to formal retail. We are a national operation and employ 250 people with an annual turnover of approx. USD 80 Million. The company was started in 1952 and was formerly a publicly listed company.
