AFFI is the national trade association representing all aspects of the frozen food industry supply chain, from manufacturers to distributors to suppliers to packagers; the Institute is industry's voice on issues crucial to future growth and progress.
The history of AFFI begins during a period when the government was increasing regulation and control over frozen food packaging, ingredients, prices, and quality. Since its inception, AFFI has grown and developed to meet the needs of a constantly changing industry.

Today the Institute represents more than 90 percent of the frozen food production in the United States. The Institute is proud to represent an industry which has grown from a novelty food business to a multi-billion dollar industry.
